It was a scorching summer day, the kind that made you feel like you were melting the moment you stepped outside. Kody had just finished a long shift at work, her body drenched in sweat and grime. She couldn’t wait to get home and hop into the shower.

Kody’s heart pounded in her chest as she set her purse down on the bathroom counter. She kicked off her flip-flops and unzipped her work uniform with shaky hands. As she peeled off her clothes, she felt Autumn’s eyes on her, tracing the curves of her body.
Once they were both naked, Kody let out a shaky breath. She had never felt so exposed, so vulnerable, yet so desired. Autumn took her hand and led her to the shower, turning on the faucet until the water was just right.
Under the warm stream, they came together, their bodies pressing against each other as if drawn by a magnetic force. Autumn’s lips found Kody’s, and they kissed deeply, passionately, all consuming thoughts melting away except for the need to get closer.
