Snapchat Tilting to the New Normal

The stale air of the kitchen hung heavy with morning silence. The coffee percolator gurgled to life, its rich aroma filling the small space. Sarah, 38, poured herself a steaming mug and leaned against the counter, scanning through photos on her phone. Her boy-toy, Tommy, stayed over last night after a few rounds of drinking. He was passed out, sprawled across her bed. A smile crept across her face remembering the night before.
“Mmmm, guess we were too drunk again…” she chuckled, closing out of photos. Her Snapchat notifications buzzed, pings of unseen snaps. She dimmed her phone screen to avoid waking Tommy. After all, she didn’t want him catching a glimpse of her Tetris stackedupiter this morning.
